Project Update: Jellyfin for WearOS

Hello everyone, I would like to share some news regarding the development of Jellyfin for WearOS. Temporary Hiatus For the time being, active development of the application is being temporarily paused. Due to my studies and other personal priorities, my schedule is currently very full, which means that new features and major updates will take longer to arrive. The Project is Not Dead. It is very important to clarify that this project is not abandoned. Creating a high-quality WearOS client for Jellyfin remains a goal that is close to my heart. I simply consider this period as a "standby" phase to allow me to come back stronger later.

If critical bugs are reported, I will do my best to fix them.

Feedback: Your suggestions and comments are always welcome. They will serve as my foundation once development resumes at full capacity.

The technical roadmap remains the same, and my ambition for the application has not changed.

State of the app

Hello everyone, I would like to tell you where the app is stated :

For now, only the login screen works. It works without the phone app, using the watch keyboard to enter the credentials. Once the credentials are entered, the app tries to connect to the server and retrieve the media library, but it is currently stuck on this step. The next steps will be to fix this issue, and then implement the media library screen, and the audio player. The complication and the phone app companion are not developed yet, but they will be developed later. — The Development Team
